As most of you know, We have had the extreme pleasure over the last year of working with singer/songwriter, Troy. During our short but prolific collaboration we have produced some profound music, in my opinion, and people are taking note as great things are happening. To highlight a few, Troy created a brilliant music video directed and produced by Andrew William Ralph for the single “Rosary“, which currently has over 60,000 streams on Spotify and thousands of video views. Troy’s Pledge Campaign, to raise funding for his EP, was a great success and was followed by Troy being featured as an artist of the month on The Deli Magazine. Troy later received an incredible review in Jamsphere Magazine and was added to and featured on Spotify’s songpickr Best Songs of 2014 and 2015 playlist, recently named Playlist of the Year by The Lefsetz Letter. Finally, in an ultimate high point, Troy was given the opportunity to open for Living Colour members, Doug Wimbish and Will Cahoun at a School of Rock Rockville Centre event.

The culmination of all of this exciting news came when NY Times bestselling author, Jessica Park, approached Troy about writing an original song for her latest book, Restless Waters, the sequel to Left Drowning (Skyscape, 2013). Jessica had always imagined her lead character, Sabin, a singer-song writer himself, to have a voice like Troy’s. Being so honored by Jessica’s request, Troy went deep into Sabin’s character and wrote his latest single, Coward. “Jessica loved it!”

Coward, captures everything I adore about Troy’s talent. The song is rich, layered, lyrically styled, moving and emotional, and fueled by Troy’s incomparable vocals”

She decided to not only feature this single on every e-book copy sold, but also Troy’s forthcoming EP, When the Lights Came. Days before the release of her book, Jessica surprised Troy with this Restless Waters dedication…

“For Troy, who beautifully and selflessly pours his soul into his music. It takes bravery to dig deep and share raw emotions, and he does that with incredible spirit, unfailing determination, and a voice that will touch even the darkest of hearts.”

Left speechless and humbled by Jessica’s words, Troy is more inspired and motivated than ever. I hope you will all check out “Coward” on Spotify, grab a copy on iTunes, and listen to this beautiful song. If you like or love what you hear, please share with your family and friends and help us get Troy the attention he deserves. Thank you all so much for your continued support!
